Please take a moment to answer the following question in the comment section below: Which tip will you apply today?
1. Admit your mistakes- There are many reasons for change. But, sometimes change happens because of the choices you make. Your own failures and mistakes can force changes into your life. It is important that you have the courage to admit your mistakes, ask for forgiveness, and learn from them. Change can bring times of great learning and growth and you don’t need to fear it.
2. Get a grip – Changes can bring great stress and upheaval in your life. It’s time to get a grip and some perspective. Stress can cause so many problems in your life physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually, and relationally. You need to learn how to handle it in healthy ways. Take time to process your feelings about the change. Give yourself permission to not be OK, to not have everything under control, and to need some help. Focus on the positive, break things down into manageable steps, get some godly counsel, and RELAX. This too shall pass.
3. Look for the blessings and the opportunities- With great sacrifice comes great gain. Change is a great time to shift your focus and look for blessings and opportunities. What you believe is how you will act. This is especially true when you feel like your life is spinning out of control. The blessings will not always be obvious. You will have to make a point to search for them. But, there are always blessings with change. You might have to wait until the season has passed for you to be able to look back and see the blessings, but they WILL be there.
