Big Blue Couch® Coaching developed the Truth Statement™ concept years ago. Is there a real blue couch?
Yes! The big blue couch™ is a real couch. The short version of how it inspired a company goes like this:
In 2011, with two kids and one on the way, Raychel needed to purchase a new couch for her growing family. Stuck in the corner of a busy furniture store she found a huge, blue, couch. Best of all it was on clearance. It was perfect.
Little did she know what the couch would soon mean for her and Mandy. After twenty years of friendship, and lots of ups and downs, things took a dramatic shift in 2012. In a season of deep depression and sickness, the couch became a spot for the best of friends to talk and encourage each other. It was the ultimate safe place for hurting hearts, and many sleep overs have been had within its trusting cushions.
The Big Blue Couch™ isn’t just your average piece of furniture. It’s the place you run to when life happens.
How do I become a Life Coach?
While we do not train people to become coaches, we have put together a short podcast episode to give you some steps toward moving into the field of life coaching and/or speaking. Click here to listen to the recording.
